Social Development Hub participates in the Workshop for Validating Legislative Proposals on Public Funding for CSOs and Social Service Organizations.

The Social Development Hub, through its Secretary General Leonardo Cunha and Director General Ana Bela Lopes, participated in the Workshop for Validating Legislative Proposals on the Legal Framework for Public Funding of Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) and the Statute of the Social and Solidarity Economy (SSE).

The meeting brought together representatives from public institutions, civil society organizations, and international partners, fostering a space for dialogue that is essential for the future of the sector.

Participation strengthened dialogue between the different stakeholders and contributed to the joint development of solutions aligned with the real needs of organizations.

For the Social Development Hub, this type of initiative represents an important step in promoting more inclusive and effective public policies, as well as in strengthening the role of civil society organizations as agents of social transformation.

The organization reaffirms its commitment to collaborating with authorities and partners in promoting a more favorable environment for the operation of civil society organizations and the growth of the Social and Solidarity Economy in Cape Verde.
