e\u00a0<strong>Kasa Cimboa, by Amaro Varela (ArtCultura Nexus)<\/strong>were the<strong>\u00a0big winners\u00a0<\/strong>of the final pitch session of the Kumunidadi Summit 2025, receiving the prize of the\u00a0<strong>TUI Care Foundation.<\/strong><br>The first edition of the Kumunidadi Summit, held on 5 and 6 December at Banco de Cabo Verde, marked a historic moment for the Cape Verdean social sector, bringing together 25 social impact projects from the Comunidade365 (7), Nexus - Arte e Cultura (7), Ecolead (5) and Impactar (6) programmes.<br>For two intense days, the event was transformed into a true space for social innovation, offering..:<br>-\u00a0<strong>Social Investment Fair,<\/strong>\u00a0with an exhibition of projects and funding opportunities;<br>-\u00a0<strong>Thematic workshops<\/strong>\u00a0focused on governance, sustainability and first steps for social organisations;<br>-\u00a0<strong>Solutions labs<\/strong>where participating promoters worked on real challenges with experts;<br>-\u00a0<strong>Pitch sessions<\/strong>which gave national visibility to new social entrepreneurs;<br>-\u00a0<strong>International keynotes<\/strong>with Karina Tavares (NUMA Paris\/Expo Favela Innovation, Elma Paulauskaite, (Policy Impact Lab) and Rui Vieira from Sport Evolution Allince, global experts in social impact;<br>- The\u00a0<strong>High-Level Panels<\/strong>These debates mobilised public institutions, universities and civil society in debates on: \"Building a National Strategy to Strengthen the Third Sector in Cape Verde\" and \"The University as an Agent of Change\".<br>-\u00a0<strong>Launch of the Funding Opportunities Guide\u00a0<\/strong>Civil Society Organisations<br>-\u00a0<strong>Celebrating International Volunteer Day<\/strong>The event was organised by the Rede de Associa\u00e7\u00f5es Comunit\u00e1rias e Manifesta\u00e7\u00f5es Sociais (Network of Community Associations and Social Demonstrations) with a talk on the volunteer system in Cape Verde.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The projects Kumunidadi Fest \u2013 from the Maracan\u00e3 Cultural and Sports Association (Comunidade365);
