On January 27th, the president of the Social Development Hub (SDH), Susana Duarte, signed a cooperation protocol with the Platform of Non-Governmental Organizations. The agreement, signed by its president, Felisberto Moreira, aims to reinforce sustainable development and strengthen civil society organizations in Cape Verde.
The Social Development Hub (SDH) inaugurated its headquarters, Social Academy, and Innovation Laboratory on January 27th in Palmarejo, with the unveiling of a plaque in a ceremony presided over by the Minister of State for Family, Inclusion, and Social Development, Elísio Freire.
The projects Kumunidadi Fest – from the Maracanã Cultural and Sports Association (Comunidade365); Serralharia Gazim, by Olgard Lima (Ecolead); Magia dos Sonhos Borcel, by Andreia Monteiro (Impactar); and Kasa Cimboa, by Amaro Varela (ArtCultura Nexus), were the big winners of the final pitch session of the Kumunidadi Summit 2025, receiving the TUI Care Foundation award.
